Data Management Lead

We are DNEXT, commodity agriculture experts. We provide consultancy to a variety of firms involved from the production stage all the way to the consumers and across multiple geographies. We provide our customers with a market intelligence platform hosting the full- scope of datasets related to agriculture commodities.

Our aim is to bring more transparency to the agricultural supply chain for the benefit of the different market stakeholders.

Job Profile

We are looking to hire a data management lead. You will be in charge of designing and maintaining our data models and datasets, generating meaningful data-driven insights from those datasets and presenting them to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate the collected datasets
• Develop policies and procedures for data collection, data quality and data governance
• Create and maintain datamarts based on the existing datasets
• Contribute to enhance our infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation andloading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies
• Develop the tooling for data quality
• Use data visualization solutions to develop reports and dashboards

Qualifications

• University degree in data analytics, computer science or economics
• 3-5 years of experience in a data-related or business intelligence position
• Proficiency in data processing and analytical solutions like Power BI
• Ability to build and optimize datasets, ‘big data’ data pipelines and architectures
• Proficiency in SQL databases. Experience with Snowflake is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a passion for big data
• High-level written and verbal communication skills
• Ability for teamwork, and capacity to handle short timelines
• Fluent in English
